L&K Deserves Second Term, Says OBJ, Citing Performance and Youth Empowerment

An aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ìwó Constituency, Hon. (Prince) Osunwo Biliaminu Jide (OBJ), has thrown his weight behind the re-election of the lawmaker representing Ayedire/Iwo/Olaoluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Lukman Mudasiru Alani, popularly known as L&K.

In a statement made available to the public, OBJ questioned the rationale behind calls for a change in representation, arguing that the performance of the incumbent lawmaker justifies continuity.

According to him, Hon. L&K has demonstrated exceptional commitment to service delivery, noting that his tenure has brought measurable democratic dividends to constituents. He emphasized that several projects facilitated by the lawmaker have positively impacted the lives of people across the constituency.

“His representation has been marked by dedication and visible results. The principle that one good term deserves another is clearly applicable in this case,” OBJ stated.

The aspirant further highlighted L&K’s efforts in youth engagement and empowerment, describing them as critical to the development of the constituency. He noted that the lawmaker has created platforms that support intellectual growth among young people while also extending his legislative contributions beyond his immediate constituency through the sponsorship of bills.

OBJ also commended L&K’s performance in legislative duties, oversight responsibilities, and constituency representation, describing his overall rating as impressive.

He expressed confidence that a second term for the lawmaker would consolidate ongoing achievements and bring about greater development.

“My prayers are that God grants him long life in good health and continues to make him useful for the progress of Iwoland and the nation at large,” he added.

OBJ concluded by urging constituents to support the lawmaker’s bid for re-election, insisting that continuity would ensure sustained growth and development in the federal constituency.
