Ìwó, Osun State – August 2025
The Special Adviser on Community and Social Development Project (CSDP), Hon. Mudashir Nurudeen Emiloju, has opened up on the circumstances that led to his removal from a government-managed WhatsApp forum in Osun State.
Speaking on the matter, Hon. Emiloju explained that he was expelled from the platform after voicing his dissatisfaction over the deplorable state of the Iwo–Osogbo road. He noted that his intervention was aimed at drawing urgent government attention to the road, which has become a source of hardship for commuters and residents alike.
According to him, his comments did not sit well with the Governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed (MOR), who reacted strongly and subsequently removed him from the group. Emiloju further alleged that Mallam Rasheed, acting as administrator, went on to delete his posts from the platform.
“Thankfully, some members had already taken screenshots of my messages before they were erased,” Emiloju stated, stressing that his removal would not silence his advocacy for better infrastructure in Iwo and across Osun State.
The development has sparked discussions among observers, raising questions about how government representatives handle constructive criticism from both citizens and officials.
