The people of Ìwó are set to benefit from a major empowerment initiative as Hon. Osunwo Biliaminu Jide (OBJ) prepares to launch a Free Skills Acquisition & Empowerment Programme aimed at building self-reliance and economic growth within the community.
According to the organisers, the programme will sponsor over 200 participants in acquiring practical and highly demanded skills, including Solar Inverter Installation, CCTV Setup, GPS Tracker Technology, and Tye & Dye (Adire) Production.
Speaking on the upcoming programme, Hon. Osunwo Biliaminu Jide described it as “a life-changing opportunity that will touch lives, empower families, and equip our people with skills for the future.”
The OBJ Empowerment Programme, organisers noted, is part of the aspirant’s broader vision to serve Ìwó with truth, vision, and hope, while giving young people and artisans a platform to thrive in today’s competitive economy.
