Iwo Grammar School Alumni Association Honors Hon. Lukman Mudasiru Alani (L&k) as The light of Ìwó at 62nd Anniversary Celebration

 

The Iwo Grammar School Alumni Association has conferred an Award of Recognition on Hon. Lukman Mudasiru Alani (L&K),Member House of Representatives representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa federal constituency and Vice Chairman House Committee on Human rights, during its 62nd anniversary celebration.

The award was presented in acknowledgment of Hon. L&k’s distinguished service, professional accomplishments, and sustained contributions to community development. In a detailed citation delivered by Mrs. Motunrayo Ajayi, the Association highlighted his educational journey, family values, career milestones, and impactful political leadership.

Speaking at the event, Town Planner Ayo Ogunwande commended Hon. Alani’s humility and accessibility, recalling a personal visit to his residence that reflected his simplicity and people-centered leadership style.

In his response, Hon. L&k expressed profound gratitude to the alumni, noting that Iwo Grammar School played a foundational role in shaping their students character and public service values. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing educational development and announced a donation of ₦1,000,000 in support of the school’s ongoing projects. He also pledged continued partnership in future development initiatives.

As part of the anniversary activities, Hon. L&k performed the foundation block laying ceremony for the school’s proposed administrative building project, signaling a renewed phase of infrastructural growth and alumni collaboration.
