Ìwó, Osun State – Friday, October 24, 2025
Hon. Osunwo Biliaminu Jide (OBJ), the State Assembly candidate representing Ìwó Constituency, has commended the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, describing him as a “vanguard of development and excellence.”
In a reflective piece shared with the media, OBJ extolled the governor’s performance, saying his administration has woven a “legacy of evergreen achievements” that continues to strengthen his political reputation as the Asiwaju of Ede-Mopo Arogun and “a true political magnate.”
OBJ noted that skeptics who doubted Governor Adeleke’s administrative competence have been proven wrong by the geometric and superlative progress achieved across the state.
“The geometric and superlative performance of this administration has completely silenced such misconceptions,” OBJ wrote.
“Development under Governor Adeleke’s leadership is evident not only in Osogbo, the state capital, but across all nine federal constituencies of Osun State.”
He highlighted several infrastructural milestones, including the completion of the long-abandoned Osogbo–Ikirun–Ila-Odo–Kwara boundary dual carriageway, the installation of solar-powered streetlights to enhance road safety, and the dualization of the Old Garage–Oke-Fia–Government House road, which terminates at Lamenco Junction, Osogbo.
OBJ further described the newly constructed 12-span Oke-Fia Flyover as “a masterpiece connecting major routes and transforming the once-dilapidated area into a beacon of modernization.”
He added that another flyover currently rising at Lamenco Junction underscores the Adeleke administration’s commitment to statewide transformation.
Commending the governor’s leadership style, OBJ emphasized that development under Adeleke is both inclusive and people-oriented, cutting across every stratum of society.
“Governor Ademola Adeleke is, without doubt, the embodiment of responsive, people-oriented governance, and Osun State is proud to have him at the helm of affairs,” he concluded.
