President Bola Tinubu has relieved his Special Assistant on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President), Fegho John Umunubo, of his duties with immediate effect.
The announcement was made in a statement by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information and Public Relations at the State House, who warned stakeholders not to transact any business with Umunubo on behalf of the administration.
According to the statement, Umunubo “no longer represents this administration in any capacity,” and anyone dealing with him in the name of the government does so at their own risk.
Stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy, both at home and abroad, were urged to take note of the disengagement.
