Hon. Moshood Kabir Adekunle (Irorun), the Executive Chairman of Ìwó Local Government, has joined the Muslim Ummah across the world in celebrating Mawlid Nabiyy, the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
In his special message, Irorun reflected on the Prophet’s timeless virtues of mercy, compassion, justice, and unity.
“Today reminds us of the greatest gift to mankind — the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (SAW). His life is a perfect guide for us as leaders, parents, youths, and as a community. If we follow his teachings of patience, honesty, and service to others, Ìwó will continue to prosper in peace and progress.”
He urged the people of Ìwó to deepen their love for one another, extend charity to the needy, and uphold the spirit of unity that the Prophet exemplified.
As the faithful mark this day with prayers and reflection, Irorun prayed for Allah’s continued blessings on Ìwó, Osun State, and Nigeria as a whole.
