L&K takes campaign to Oke-adan 02, Oke-adan 03, Gidigbo 03 and Gidigbo 01. Accompanied by Alh. Tiamiyu Khalid (Iwo PDP party chairman/caretaker, Hon Sefiu Isola (Apesin), Hon Sunday Oroniyi, Alh Ibrahim Akala, Alh. Hon. Abdul-Wasiu Akinwon, Hon Fijabi, and Hon Abdul Rahmon’s (The Senator) Hon Lukman Salman, Alhaja Amao Afusat, Alh. Hon. Nurudeen Emiloju, Hon Rabiu Adesina (PDP candidate for State House of Assembly, Iwo LG), Hon Jimoh Oju Olape, Hon Kamilu Adio among others while various wards show a display of how vibrant these leaders are in their wards with a massive turn out of party members and lovers of PDP as campaign reached them yesterday 30th Dec, 2022.
Party member were introduced into various wards by Hon Lukman Saliman where he introduced both the visiting members and the members that were visited to the crowd.
Hon Sunday Oroniyi the campaign chairman of L&K movement spoke in various wards where he emphasized on the need to vote L&K. He thanked leaders of various wards for their vibrants and efficient efforts towards the success of the party in the last election but he further ascertain they still have to do more. He also highlighted on why the leaders still need to put more efforts as the wards was taken from PDP in the last gubernatorial election with 356 votes in Oke-adan 2. He also stressed on how PDP now has one of the core party member of APC in person of Hon Adeshina Rabiu Atanda (Ara) of which he believes he decamped with all the APC members that made PDP lost in the wards and he urges party leaders, youths, women and fathers to still put more efforts towards the success of the coming election as he is looking forward for them to win in the coming election with a multiple of the of votes APC used in winning them in the last guber.
Speaking further in Oke-adan 03, he was so proud of his ward as they happened to be the only ward that delivered their wards for PDP with the highest number of votes in the last concluded election in Iwo. He boost on how they so much loved L&K in their wards and how they have been working diligently for him since the campaign kick started. He urges his ward members to triple the amount of votes they used in delivering their wards for PDP in the last gubernatorial election come February, 2022.
While speaking with the people of Gidigbo 1, he thanked them on how they worked proficiently in the last gubernatorial election and how they tried to deliver their wards to PDP but lost with 23 votes. He acknowledged their efforts telling them its not an easy task to lose a ward to an incumbent government with just 23 votes. He pleaded to them to try and put more effort in the coming election as PDP now has the breaking point but advice them to work beyond that.
It was a chant of L&K ibo L&K ibo as the moving train ended the tour at Gidigbo 1.
The convoy of Aare Atulunse of Iwo land was humbly welcomed by people of the wards. Hon Sunday Oroniyi thanked the party leaders as well as all party members for their efforts towards the victory of the last gubernatorial election. He urges them to work more efficiently so as to deliver the ward for PDP in the coming election.
Aare Atunluse of Iwo Land Alh. Hon. Mudashiru Lukman Kayode in his speech thanked all party members and leaders for the success achieved so far on the completion of the ward tour.
Speaking at various wards, he said he has come to show a former introduction of himself to the people he will be representing so as to assure them that their candidate won’t ignore them when he gets to the national chamber. He spoke on how he has planned to bring the premium proceed of democracy to their door steps if elected. He promised to empower women with grant (A non refundable fund) as a means of assisting them with their businesses since most of them has always resorted to LAPO as a means of survival. He promised to roll out employment all over the wards to various youths, free WAEC, JAMB registration as well as free extra moral classes for student across Ayiwloa. He promised to assist farmers with farm equipments that will reduce the amount of labour they put in farming.
Cash and souvenirs was given to different wards and a handout encompassing what he planned on doing if elected was also distributed.
