Osun LG Polls: Oyetola deliberately setting a bad precedence- PDP Chieftain, L&K

• Says PDP not intimidated by APC's loser attributes

A chieftain of the People's Democratic Party, Oluomo Lukman Kayode Mudashiru (L&K) at the weekend stated that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun state is deliberately setting a bad precedence with his plan to organize a local government election before the expiration of his tenure.

He also noted that the People's Democratic Party is not in anyway intimidated by the plan to organize the LG polls because the APC is only exhibiting the attributes of a loser.

Speaking with newmen in Iwo, the PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Iwo, Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency noted that even though the PDP stands for appropriate democratic process, Governor Oyetola should know that this is a wrong time to organize a LG poll seeing that he will be handing over soon.

He said "The plan by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his APC team to organize a local government election is an indication that they have decided to set a bad precedence in the state.

"Oyetola had four years as the Governor to organize it, he did not, why is it now that he has lost the election and will be handing over to the PDP.

"Its obvious that APC is displaying attributes of a loser and we in the PDP are not intimidated by these attributes, we are ready for whatever it will cost us to set Osun on the path to greatness.

"Even to a novice, everybody knows that this is a wrong time to organize a local government election, but Oyetola had decided to make a fool of Osun people, it is rather unfortunate.

"Oyetola and APC should be aware that the people of Osun are now wise and have rejected them already, so there is no need to organize any kangaroo election, they have indebted Osun enough."

He then appeal to the people of Osun state to shun any kangaroo election and keep calm till PDP takes over in November for a duly democratic process.
