As we keep drumming for peace across Ayiwola Federal Constituency towards having a peaceful atmosphere and concentrate on the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election. As we all know that APC does anything it takes to remain in power, harmonious and rancour-free relationship among the leadership of the PDP is expedient, in order to easily dislodge APC and their misgovernance in the state.
Recent actions taken by Ayodeji and Alhaji Sulaimon Bello took the state leadership of the party aback in surprise, including our Governor-in-waiting, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke and the entire Imole Campaign Council. This played out at Imole House, Osogbo on Friday 10th, June 2022 when the party leadership and the campaign council got the wind of Deji Seebee's latest attempt at usurping the mandate of the people, freely given L&K.
After several botched moves and machinations, most of which is sinister, to snatch the ticket through the backdoor, Deji Seebee approached the court with bogus and frivolous prayers.
Hon Mudashiru Lukman Kayode was on his way to Osun PDP stakeholders meeting at Imole House Osogbo when he received a call from a bailiff from Federal High Court Osogbo who had visited his Iwo Country Home to serve him a court summon. He then asked the bailiff to bring the court paper to him in Osogbo as the bailiff was definitely going to return to the same Osogbo city.
As our principal, Hon L&K was stepping in to the Imole house venue of the stakeholders meeting, He met Hon. Sulaimon Bello with microphone addressing the stakeholders on the need for winners of the just concluded primaries as well as those that lost to embrace peace and forge a united front to prosecute the 16th July Governorship election. Hon. Mudashiru Lukman Kayode was surprised to hear that from Alhaji Seebee, taking into consideration all the attepmts he had made to reconcile with him and Ayodeji, the several attempts to get a rerun election through the appeal committee and of course the latest development of court case Ayodeji instituted, a summon of which L&K was holding in his hand. Alh Lukman Kayode Mudashir sought to talk and was yielded the floor. While making his speech, he reiterated the fact that Alhaji Seebee's action back home was different from what he was saying at the Osogbo meeting. He presented the court summon to the whole house and everyone was dumbfounded.
Sen. Ademola Adeleke was there with Prof. Oladipupo (Leader of Ademola Adeleke campaign team), Akogun Lere Oyewumi PhD (Osun West Senatorial Candidate), Hon. Sunday Bisi (Immediate past Osun PDP Chairman and Imole Campaign DG), Hon. Sanya Omirin, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, Hon Ibukun Fadipe (IBK), Dr. BT Salam, Major Raphael Towobola (Major RAT) and many eminent PDP party stakeholders.
Everyone expressed dismay at the unfortunate development. L&K and Seebee were later invited to the office of Campaign Council Chairman, Prof Wale Oladipo to call a truce. At that peace meeting, Sen. Ademola Adeleke together with other stakeholders made it clear to Hon. Sulaimon Bello that his son can not win such case in any court of law. That such move will only destabilize the party and diminish our chances in Iwo Federal Constituency. Hon Seebee was prevailed upon to withdraw the case immediately
After some back and forth, Hon. Sulaimon Bello promised to speak to his son who has returned to his base in the United States. He gave the leaders his word to withdraw the case.
